The annual anti-terrorism and force protection exercise Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield (SC-CS) continued on Feb. 5 at NAS Jacksonville with a mission essential personnel (MEP) tabletop exercise (TTX).
MEP are Sailors and civilian employees required to perform critical duties on base, regardless of security threats or severe weather conditions.
Each tenant command on base must identify MEP in their units who report for work as scheduled during threatening weather or security situations.
