The NAS Jax Environmental Restoration Partnering Team has been selected as a winner of the fiscal year 2013 Chief of Naval Operations Environmental Awards competition in the Environmental Restoration (Individual or Team) category. According to Rear Adm. Kevin Slates, director, Energy and Environmental Readiness Division, the team is being recognized for its efforts to protect the environment and promote quality of life without compromising mission success.
